So, when I was growing up my mom would try and get me to help out in the kitchen. To this I would promptly reply, "I don't know how to cook." As I grew older, lived on my own and discovered the world of dating I quickly realized how important cooking is. First of all, if you only knew how expensive eating out can be you would either never eat out again or only eat out when someone else offers to pay. This is usually the route young single females take when the sly male asks them out and offers to take them to a nice restaurant. To this I say NO! Do not take her out. Especially on a first date! There is no guarantee it is going to end well and if it doesn't you just wasted $40 or more on decent food and awkward conversation.
My suggestion is to learn to cook. It will save you a lot of money and show off your skills in the culinary department. A man that can cook is a turn on to any lady. I spent $9 the other day buying ingredients to make a special spaghetti recipe that will last two people several days. That was $9 at Smiths so probably around $7 at Walmart. Take my advice and learn this recipe along with some others. Think about it $9 on at least 4 meals and the chance to show off your cooking skills or $40 and you get to show off how quickly you can blow your money and frivolous crap. Enjoy. Try this recipe, it's fast easy and she probably hasn't had anything like it. It also doesn't sit too heavy on the stomach so she won't feel sluggish when your done with the evenings meal which can always lead to better things. = )
