In the spirit of design I will introduce you to one of my favorite books. I stumbled onto this book while perusing the shelves of one of my favorite store; Barnes and Noble. Patient Zero proves that reading can be addictive given the right drug. Think, Dan Brown meets Tom Clancy meets George Romero and you will get something of an idea of the crazy action packed story line contained within this novel. Jonathan Mayberry's Joe Ledger is one of the best protagonists I've seen in a long time. If Jack Bauer and Chuck Liddell had a kid you'd get Joe Ledger. This book is smart, fast paced, violent and full of real world science. It also has ZOMBIES! Over the last ten years we have seen an re-uprising (if you will) of the zombie genre.
